Hightower - Sgt. Hightower Smith helped one of the best football players

The world of NFL mourns the passing of legendary Bubba Smith, who had a very successful career with the Colts, Raiders and Oilers. However, for many generations, Smith entertained for his second career as an actor, appearing in ads for Miller Lite and "Police Academy" series.

Smith was not the first NFL player to make the leap to acting, and certainly not the first to play a police officer. In an effort to honor and remember Smith, here is my list of the top six.
